Direct and Indirect Speech

We can narrate something said by someone else in two ways, either we repeat his/ her words or we convey the same meaning in our own words. The former mode of communication is called direct speech and the later is known as indirect speech.

Example:

Man, Class room, fruit, breakfast, wisdom, health etc…

i.        CONCRETE NOUNS:

A noun which is a physical object and can be seen, touched or felt is known as concrete noun.
Example:
Man, Fruit, table, glass, water, milk etc…

What is sentence?

          A group of meaningful words is called sentence.
Examples:
(1)     Sara Iqbal’s dress is beautiful.                             (Meaningful)
(2)     Girl a good is Laiba.                                   (Not meaningful)
